Getting Started

Custom Subdomains

By default your mock lives at mockbase.org/mock/<mock_id> — functional, but not exactly memorable. Claim a subdomain and the same mock also answers at <your-slug>.mockbase.org.

Pro feature — free during the beta.

Setting it up

Open the Custom subdomain panel on your mock, pick a slug, and claim it. Once claimed, requests to https://<slug>.mockbase.org/<path> are routed to that mock exactly as if you'd called it through the regular /mock/<mock_id>/<path> base URL — same routes, same matching, same everything, just a cleaner address.

A slug can only be claimed by one mock at a time.
